After trying the Paradise Donuts in Milton, I thought it was only fair to check out the Huntington location.
They have classic donuts, as well as some more creative takes.
They have Oreo, Marshall-colored sprinkles and long johns.
I went for a blueberry crumble cake donut.
I gotta say - pretty tasty!
And, there's Austin's ice cream!
The Blue Spoon Cafe is a Bluefield spot known for its delicious donuts.
The Blue Spoon Cafe' is a darling dining destination in the heart of Downtown Bluefield, WV. Formally opened by The Bluefield Preservation Society in efforts to revitalize Downtown. The Cafe' is now owned and operated by Nicole Coeburn with a love for small business and the Bluefield Community.I've been trying to check out this restaurant for some time, but the hours don't always agree with my schedule. I made it here just as they were closing but through chance, was able to score a cinnamon toast donut.
We focus on fresh food and ingredients. Using homemade recipes and offering weekly specials with specialties in doughnuts, desserts, soups, salads and sandwiches.
We welcome you to be our guest in this cozy dining room that's fit for an afternoon of relaxing and dining.
In the words of Virginia Woolf, "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
BUT - I was recently able to go BACK with more time to sit and enjoy this spot.
They have a whole lunch menu - not only donuts!
I sat down for a piece of cheddar and bacon quiche and a side of broccoli & cheese soup (mm cheese).
Yumm.
And this Oreo donut was unreal - no hole in the middle, but filling throughout the light almost crisp interior. Delish.
This is now the third location of Peace, Love & Little Donuts that I've been to in West Virginia.
The Huntington location has some seating along the wall and is decked in bright purple and orange colors.
Many of the donut offerings are the same, but I saw one I had not tried before: puppy chow.
It's topped with chocolate and powdered sugar and a peanut butter.
What's your favorite donut here?
Paradise Donuts has two locations in West Virginia: Milton and Huntington.
I recently went to both of these locations to check it all out.
The donuts range from classic glazes ones to more interesting flavors.
Some of the different ones included a maple bacon, gummi bears, and cinnamon toast crunch.
I got one of each!
But there were long johns, fruity pebbles and more, too.
Which is your favorite flavor?
Gummi bear
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Maple bacon
Morgantown has a Peace, Love & Little Donuts, so I am familiar with the concept.
Essentially, these mini donuts are covered with all kinds of amazing toppings.
And Charleston just got its location recently.
Restaurant openings are like my favorite occassions, so I went on the first day. And it was very busy!
All of the donuts look amazing, but I went with six:
My favorite is the Snick Jagger - it's like a Snickers bar!

I'll admit it: Buckeye has a great state dessert.
The Buckeye is a little culinary gem - sweetned peanut butter enveloped with chocolate. It's a classic combo.
So it only makes sense that there's a donut shop that pays homage to it in some way. Buckeye Donuts serves up many kinds of donuts, but I had my eye on the namesake.
This donut was full of cream and glazed with chocolate and fabulous.

Custom, made-to-order donuts is the name of the game at Wild n Wonderful Donuts.
This Vienna donut shop lets you pick the icing flavors - like caramel, strawberry and peanut butter - and toppings. There are even pre-made ones like Samoa or Macon (maple + bacon) if you're feeling indecisive.
Toppings include favorites like marshmallow, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles!
And, it's all right here in this handy chart. I ordered two customer favorites: S'more (fudge icing, marshmallow and graham cracker dust), and Macon (maple icing and bacon pieces). Then I made one with strawberry icing and fruity pebbles.
Yum! Have you been yet?
