Fatheads

Fat Head's has a few locations, and this Pittsburgh location is actually my second. The other I visited was near Cleveland.

This brewery/pub features giant sandwiches, tons of beers, and a bit of a racous environment.

Fatheads

The cool thing about this place is that it was actually started in the South Side of Pittsburgh.

The menu features a little bit of everything, but their "headwiches" are popular - sandwiches that are the size of your head!

And, they have an impressive list of beers. I thought it would be fun, though, to do the draft cocktail: Smooth Sailing. It has Maggie's Farm White Rum, Fresh Lime and Homemade Ginger Beer. Mm!

For my entree, I ordered "Southside Slopes," which was voted the #5 best sandwich in the U.S.A. by Maxim.

FatheadsThe sandwich has chargrilled kielbasa, topped with sauteed pierogi, onions, American cheese and horseradish sauce. This was delicious! I mean, it was huge. But I loved the kielbasa - which you can't find everywhere - with the sweetness of the onions, creamy cheese and horseradish for a kick!

And there's our blushing bride-to-be!

She also got the same drink!
