During these crazy times, I'm trying to stay as safe as possible while also supporting local businesses. So, there has been a lot of takeout. A LOT of takeout. Even at places like Dockside Grille, which considers one of its biggest selling points being right on the river.
Nonetheless, I got a nice view of the space when I went to pick up. The island vibe is spread throughout the space, while still having a touch of refinement.
To start off, I ordered the coconut shrimp. Breaded, deep-fried shrimp with the sweet coconut outer layer. Plus a side of a creamy sweet chili sauce brought it all together. Yum.
Then, it's lobster ravioli time. Plump ravioli, stuffed with lobster meat and cheese, and topped with a creamy tomato sauce. This is not a new flavor to me, but it is one of my favorites. Creamy, cheesy, indulgent - in all the best ways.

It's almost time for my July box, and I realized I hadn't shared the June box! So far, I've tried that spicy honey peanut butter - which I think would be perfect for a Thai dish. And it's no joke spicy.
Wasabi Fusion is a Chinese, Japanese and Thai fusion restaurant in Beckley. So, think Chinese classics with sushi and a few noodle dishes, too.
Recently, I ordered takeout here: crab rangoons and a sushi roll. The crab rangoons - this was a very small order. I think there were three. They were the fold-over kind, which I tend to like because they have more filling. These were average.
I underestimated the amount of "crunchies" this would have, but I was not mad about it. It's a little deep-fried log of goodness. All of my guilty pleasures wrapped up in one.

It's time to head to the Tudor's Biscuit World in Summersville.
Let's be honest, I'm tired of biscuits. BUT, there are just a couple left. The more basic ones. And we're on a mission to try all of them.
Today is the ham biscuit - classic. There are three different ham options they offer.
The classic has this slab of ham so there are some stringy bits of fat at times. But, I like this better than the country ham. It's kind of like Easter dinner leftovers.
