My last restaurant of my visit to Wetzel County was Quinet's Court Restaurant.
The restaurant is quite large, with some booth dining along the side and subsequent sprawling dining rooms near the buffet area.
The buffet features a little bit of everything.
They have bbq ribs, mac & cheese, stuffing, stuffed peppers, meatloaf, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and so much more.
I was really shocked to see the amount of food available on the buffet.
And the desserts - everything from pies and cookies to chocolate fondue.
This place was pretty busy, and I can see why.
There's a little bit of everything for everyone.
And, while in the area, I checked out a few other areas.
West Virginia State Penitentiary
Grave Creek Mound
Grand Vue Park
Bruce Park
Bob's Lunch is a small restaurant in Moundsville.
After discovering I had some time to kill before visiting the Moundsville Penitentiary, this place was recommended.
Bob's Lunch features some daily lunch specials, in addition to standard sandwiches, soups and other entrees.
I went with the "Slim Gary," which has ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and 1000 island on a sesame seed bun.
It's kinda like a local version of a Big Mac!
Thistledew Farms is a honey producer in Wetzel County. They also have a folk toy store.
This place has been on my to-visit list for quite some time, and it didn't disappoint.
From the live bees in the store - where we found the queen - to the honey products, this place is neat.
I ended up getting just about every kind of honey.
Lemon honey, chili pepper honey, and more.
The honey mustard is one of their original products!
And the hot pepper butter is a crowd favorite.
They also have lotion, lip balm and more.
Plus the toys are all so neat!
