Buster's Blazin' Grill was located nearby recently, so my friend Sara and I went to go check it out. They specialize in burgers, but also have hot dogs and BBQ, as well.
These aren't just regular burgers. They have themes - like the southwest burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. OR the Buster's Blazin Burger with spicy cheese sauce, spicy pickles and jalapenos.
I went with the "Moose," which had two patties, melted cheddar cheese, American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, house sauce on a brioche bun.
The first couple ingredients are to be expected and help make a good burger. That house sauce, though, made this a phenomenal burger. I don't even know what it was, but it brought a sweetness with some tang that was just perfect.

Here's another segment of Tudor's Biscuit World. This time: Teays Valley.
Our biscuit of choice: The Miner. This biscuit has bacon, cheese and a hash brown.
First of all, I've realized just how important each element is. When the hash brown is nice and crispy, it's perfection on the biscuit. It doesn't weigh it down; rather, it adds more texture. So, crispy hash brown is key. On the other hand, too crispy bacon just tastes like char to me. Gimme a nice middle ground. And cheese on everything, always and forever.

Belknap Dough Company is a mobile wood-fired, brick-oven pizza food truck. They can be found setting up shop around the Teays Valley area, and they always post on their Facebook where they will be. So I got lucky one day recently and caught them out and about.
They serve up some standard pizzas, like cheese, pepperoni, sausage, then "Piggie Pie" which has sausage, bacon and ham. And then there's the Buffalo Chicken, which has a garlic base, buffalo chicken, and a ranch drizzle. That one sounded the most exciting, so it had my vote.
First of all, it looks fabulous. That is one inviting pie. And biting into it, I was instantly hit with a ton of cheese, a hint of garlic and a little heat from the buffalo sauce. A classic combination that's brought to life on a fresh pizza dough. This is definitely a tasty pie.

Taste of Asia has a few locations in West Virginia: South Charleston, Huntington and Teays Valley.
The restaurant focuses on Chinese, sushi, hibachi, Thai and more, so it's kind of a one-stop-shop for everything Asian.
Because it was unique to this location, I tried the "Teays Valley Roll," which had shrimp tempura, mango, spicy crab salad, spicy mayo, eel sauce and masago - all things I love!
