There are a few things I miss about living in a college town: The banks had great hours - even being open on Sundays, restaurants were open very late, and you can get just about everything delivered.

Charleston 2 Go has answered my prayers on that last note. Much like the delivery service in Morgantown, this delivery service has partnered with local restaurants to make delivery simple - enter your address, enter a time you want food, and place your order at the available restaurants. I'm optimistic that more options will continue to be added.



I noticed one restaurant on the list I had never been to: Lem's Meat Varnish. Known for their bbq sauce sold commercially, Lem's Meat Varnish also has its own BBQ location in South Charleston. Here's the pulled pork sandwich, smoked mac & cheese, potato salad, cole slaw and a sweet BBQ sauce!
