Delfino's has a drive-up window, and it also has a dining room. There are a lot of little decorations all over the place - really a homey, small town restaurant feel.
I ordered a personal pizza with mushrooms and a strawberry shake. I felt like I needed both pizza and ice cream to fulfill the mission (you know, Delfino's Pizza AND Ice Cream).
The pizza was not my favorite. I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately, but the crust just wasn't crispy at all. Like, not even a little bit. I had a hard time pulling my piece of pizza up in one piece. Not ideal. Good bit of mushrooms and cheese, though.
However, one of the best strawberry shakes ever. Absolutely delicious. And a cherry on top! Yass.
Bridge Brew Works just recently opened its taproom. Previously, it was a brewery only, and it was one of the only ones in the state to not offer tastings. But, rejoice!
It's currently open Fridays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
I got a small growler of the Bourbon Barrel - which is awesome. It's aged in Smooth Ambler barrels. So good!
The owner was also super cool and chatted with me a little bit about their growler filling station - unlike others I've seen in the state.
Very cool folks and tasty beer. Give 'em a visit if you're in the area!
Chetty's Pub is located in Adventures on the Gorge. One of these days, I want to go back there and do the actual adventures instead of just the food.
The restaurant has typical pub fare, and the bartender said the burgers are quite popular. I went for the Chetty's Classic Burger, which is an 8 oz. burger chargrilled, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. It includes a side of fries.
The interior is totally covered in wood ala a lodge, and the building overlooks the gorge. It's a pretty cool view.
The burger is impressive. It's huge, towering and filled with toppings. It's nearly impossible to eat in its current state, so I used my knife and fork to cut it into pieces. I was not anticipating all the pickles on the burger - which were weird. Not a great pickle. A weird overly briney one. But I loved the rest of the burger. The bun was toasted, the lettuce and tomato fresh, and the patty tasty. Overall, pretty good.
I finally made it to the last Custard Stand! I made the trip to Webster Springs, the flagship location.
I ordered a chili dog with slaw, mustard and onions, as well as a chocolate shake for good measure.
I love the hot dogs from this place. I think the slaw is great, the chili is super tasty, and it all combines together to make for a delicious bite.
I only wish there was a closer one to Morgantown.
The chocolate shake is also delicious. It's hard to mess up a chocolate shake, but I always love the ice cream from this place. Good hot dogs and good ice cream - doesn't get much better than that.
Blue Moon Cafe is a sweet little cafe with a sprawling outdoor seating area. The menu features sandwiches, salads, quiche, soups and desserts.
I immediately started looking at the sandwiches, and there are so many - and lots of vegan options, as well. Some of the ones I was deciding between are:

Everything about this was delicious. The ciabatta was fresh and had a perfect crunch to the outside, the brie was melting all over turkey breast, and the cranberry aioli added the touch of sweetness I needed.
The macaroni and cheese was creamy, cheesy and crunchy with the french-fried onions on top. Perfect, perfect lunch.
