Geminellis Bistro is an Italian restaurant in Princeton from the same owner as Brandon's BBQ & Grill in Pipestem.

"At Geminellis, we take pride in bringing authentic Italian cuisine with an American flair to West Virginia. With decades experience in the restaurant and food service business, our goal is to provide the best quality ingredients, prepared and served with passion. All of our items are made from scratch, never frozen and definitely not prepared elsewhere and shipped in on trucks to be reheated. Try Geminellis today and we know you’ll be impressed with the quality, service and price."

The menu features items like lasagna, seafood manicotti, calzones, pizzas, chicken parmesan and more.

First, a small house salad with greens, cucumbers, pickled onions, tomato, croutons and bleu cheese dressing.

For my entree, I went with "Chicken & Wild Mushroom Ravioli," which is made with handcrafted raviolis stuffed with shredded chicken breast, mushrooms and cheese. It was served with an herb cream sauce.

Have you ever been?

Sunshine Sammies is a really cool restaurant that creates their own ice cream sandwiches.

But one of the things I thought was really cool was the "After School Snacks."

These are those classic Little Debbie snacks - like Zebra Cakes and MoonPies, but kicked up a notch.

Delicious!

Old World Libations is a winery, meadery and cidery located in Monroe County.

The Union-based destination is fairly new, but they're quickly growing and expanding.

Recently, I headed out this way to add another West Virginia wine/cider/mead to my collection!

They're currently open on Sunday afternoons, so if you have one free, go check 'em out.

They do a fall cider pressing that is alcohol free for folks who prefer that route.

And for those who do want a sip, they have meads (made with honey) - including an interesting vanilla one!

And cider, which is fermented apples.

The wines - including a strawberry wine - are tasty.

Oh, and while in this area of the state, I stopped at the Pence Springs Flea Market.

And for those wondering - yes, they do have food!

Asheville is known for having tons of breweries - and many, many good ones.

Wicked Weed Brewing is a well-known one.

There are some really great beers on tap here.

I had to try Candice The Barbarian! The color is light and hazy, and I loved the flavor!
