Santa Claus, IN Edition: Frosty's Fun Center

By Candace Nelson - 5:00 PM

FrostysNot too long after my trip to the PNW, I made a trip - by car - to the midwest to see some friends.

FrostysSince I had gotten in late that evening, we didn't want to go too far for dinner.

FrostysLuckily, a place called Frosty's Fun Center was open.

Frostys

This seasonal fun center offers a Christmas-themed miniature golf course, tasty snacks, breakfast items, sandwiches, ice cream, and delicious fresh pizza. The challenging 18-hole miniature golf course includes twists and turns that are fun for the entire family! The course is estimated to be a par 45 and you will find Christmas reminders throughout the themed course. This course is home to the giant melting snowman! Inside Frosty’s Fun Center, find exciting arcade games such as car racing, space fighting, and more (SOURCE).

Let's step back for a second. They live in a town called Santa Claus, Indiana, and the whole town has a Christmas theme. Hence, the name for this restaurant.

FrostysFrosty's Fun Center has some games and fun things to do, but we were there for some grub. I ordered a small pizza with mushrooms and also got a turtle sundae

FrostysThe restaurant is small, pretty kid-friendly and smells a whole lot like grease. Their ventilation must need some work. But, none of it mattered once that sundae got in my hands. It came out first, which I'm OK with, and it's good - vanilla soft serve, caramel and hot fudge syrup, and walnuts? Yes, please.

FrostysAnd, the pizza was surprisingly good. Crust was slightly crisp, sauce was good, dough had a nice little chew. Really much better than I anticipated. I was also starving, so that may have played a role. But, if you have kids or just want something to do, I would go back here to take part in the activities. And, grab another pizza.
