As I finish off the list of USA Today's 10Best pepperoni rolls that I haven't tried, I found myself at Pasco's Pizza in New Martinsville.
This restaurant had a steady stream of folks since the time I sat down.
They're known for the pepperoni BUN, which is very similar to Colasessano's.
It's like a hoagie bun that has a slit in the middle, which is stuffed with thick slabs of pepperoni and topped with sauce and cheese. You can also get peppers and onions.
I'm told their ceasars - which is pizza dough, folded over, and sandwich ingredients inside - is another big seller.
There must be some correlation between this spot and the Fairmont institution since theirs are so similar.
The current owner said this item was on the menu when he purchased the business, so it's been around for a little while.
Have you been? What'd you think?
Ooh, and there are cake pops!
