While in Fayetteville for the Gingerbread Festival, I stopped by for a classic Almost Heaven treat.
Tudor's is like a comfort food. So I ran through the drive-thru for a Politician biscuit to take with me to view the Christmas lights at the county park.

Kobe Asian Fusion has two locations - one in Charleston and one now in Fayetteville.
The restaurant features Chinese, Japanese, Thai and more entrees.
First, I started with an order of Cream Cheese King Crab Wontons, which came with a sweet chili sauce.
For an entree, I ordered the Kimono Roll, which comes with crab, avocado, and crunchy, topped with crab, tobiko, & spicy mayo.
Sweet Java Falls Coffee Shop is a little coffee shop at Adventures on the Gorge.
I was staying here for an event, so a little early morning caffeine was essential.
I made my way over to the shop to get my fill!
First things first, a cinnamon apple muffin.
Then, I ordered a caramel-vanilla frappuccino.
How cute are the names for the sizes?

OK Chinese Buffet in Fayetteville has always made me giggle a little bit.
While some Chinese restaurants opt for "Super" or "No. 1," I enjoy that this spot went with "OK."
I've mentioned before how I love going to Chinese buffets to get takeout - the perk of variety while enjoying it at home.
There were a good bit of dishes to choose from, which included all my favorites.
General Tsos, dumplings, crab, rangoons. Check, check, check and check.

Tucked away in Water Stone Outdoors is a new small coffee bar.
RangeFinderCoffee focuses on specialty espresso and coffee drinks. They serve La Terza Coffee beans, which are "ethically sourced and roasted to perfection."
The menu is not large, but the focus on coffee is clear.
I went for a mocha with oat milk - something you don't really see everywhere!
He made a version, then had me taste it to see if it was to my liking.
If you're looking for a strong cup of joe, this is your place.
New River Curry House is Fayetteville's newest restaurant.
Featuring Indian dishes from the Punjab region of India, near the border with Pakistan, the restaurant has a modern-meets-rustic vibe.
Think wooden accents and potted greenery.
I looked over the menu, and I wanted to try everything.
But I started with an order of Samosas - and I got sides of Tamarind chutney and Raita chutney. One was a sweeter chutney, and the other was close to a tzatziki.
And then paneer pakora - which is cheese and chickpea.
And take a look at this cool drink I had to wash it all down with: Basil Seed - pineapple flavor. It has these little gummy-ish seeds inside. Very unique.
For my entree, I went with chicken tikka masala, which is savory, yet a bit creamy.
And for my side, I went with the potato pave - it's a crispy potato cake.
Bill went for a pork belly, which also look delish.
Fayetteville's Big Dam Pizza moved locations to be in more of downtown Fayetteville proper.
Known for have gigantic slices of pizza, this shop makes it so you don't really need more than one slice.
I ordered one with mushrooms, as well as a pepperoni roll.
