Tudor's is spread far and wide in West Virginia, and eventually I might hit them all.
While leaving town, I stopped at Lewisburg's Tudor's for a quick breakfast.
I went with my go-to: a sausage biscuit with grape jelly.
These biscuits were HUGE - about double the size of my local store. It completely covered the sausage in fresh, fluffy goodness.
Silver Dragon is a Chinese restaurant in Lewisburg that is primarily takeout, but they do have a few tables inside for folks who want to dine in.
The menu isn't unlike the traditional American-Chinese restaurants, with the addition of bubble tea.
I went with honey chicken with steamed rice and an eggroll.
Have you been here?
After a ton of fair food, I was looking for something a little lighter: Enter Fujiyama.
The restaurant is not huge, but quite a few folks were dining on the day I visited.
The menu features hibachi dinners, as well as a sushi menu.
A very extensive sushi menu.
In fact, there's a whole separate menu just for additional sushi rolls.
I started with a salad with ginger dressing.
Then my two rolls: The Pink Lady and the West Virginia
The China Palace in Lewisburg is a local Chinese buffet that also features bubble tea and smoothies.
While in Lewisburg, my friend and I were hungry so we stopped by this Chinese buffet to get our fill.
The buffet features General Tso's, sesame chicken, crab rangoons, a cheesy seafood bake, chicken & mushrooms and more.
It's not a huge buffet, but there is a nice little variety here.
One of my favorites was coconut chicken and dumplings. Have you been?
Any chance I get to visit Lewisburg, I take it up. It's such a sweet town, and there's such good food.
One new restaurant that popped on my radar recently was The Local.
The Local is a cafe and market that features regional foods, beer and wine.
The menu for breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, a lox bagel (!!) and oatmeal.
But I was here for lunch, and I was so excited to see a version of that lox bagel on here: Smoked Atlantic Salmon BLT with lettuce, tomato, bacon, red onion, capers, herb spread on a bagel.
While waiting for my meal, I took a look around the market portion.
All kinds of local goodies!
Super fresh and a side of chips to add that extra crunch.
And, a slice of peach pecan pie.
Alfredo's Bistro has a few locations in West Virginia, where they serve Italian and Greek fare.
Located in Lewisburg, the restaurant has a good-sized dining area and it was pretty free!
The menu is expansive, with a wide assortment of dishes.
I went for the "Mixed Pasta," because I can't pass up a mixture of different kinds of pasta. Who can?!
I started with a salad and breadstick.
And then look at this plate! Anything covered in cheese has my name written all over it!
The Humble Tomato is a new pizza restaurant located in downtown Lewisburg.
The building, located at the end of the street, is beautiful and welcoming.
I walked up the stairs and into the open space - which is warm, relaxing and fun.
Looking over the menu, I decided on "Newton's Law," which has an olive oil base, dried figs, shaved prosciutto, grilled apple, goat cheese and balsamic reduction.
While waiting for it, I watched TV and marveled at the personal touches of the restaurant.
