After all the sweets, a nice breakfast biscuit sandwich was in order. And Tudor's never lets me down.

And, my biscuit of the moment is the Politician - egg, cheese and bologna.
And tater rounds, of course!
Which biscuit is your go-to?
There are a bunch of small bakeries popping up all over the state, and I'm always more than willing to check them out.
Baking Memories in Bridgeport offers a variety of custom goods, but they also have plenty of treats in store - like cupcakes, cookies and pepperoni rolls.
While perusing the single-serving cupcakes, I found one that had caramel drizzled on top. That's the winner!
It turns out to be an apple crumble cupcake.
So, it was like an apple spice cake with apples inside, a caramel icing and an oat crumble on top.

Espresso Yourself Coffee House in Grafton has been on my to-try list for quite some time.
But it was only recently that I was able to make it there.
This coffee shop has all sorts of drinks - hot or cold, as well as snacks like cookies, pastries and more.
While here, I ordered a simple latte with caramel.
So tasty!

You've probably heard of Minard's Spaghetti Inn in Clarksburg. The classic Italian restaurant is well loved among locals.
And, recently, they opened an "express" location in Bridgeport.
They serve many of the same classics: spaghetti, rigatoni, etc.
On the day I went, their special was gnocchi, and I ordered hat with their red sauce.
It came with a small house salad and dressing, plus a slice of garlic bread.
This sauce is a bit sweeter - and I'm into it! What's your favorite dish here?
Mike Audia's is a restaurant in Nutter Fort that was featured on Restaurant Impossible.
The Nutter Fort restaurant focuses on BBQ but with lots of other goodies, too.
So I ended up going with an adult version of macaroni & cheese! The sausage had a slightly sweet flavor, and the cheese was on point.

Bonnie Belle's Pastries is the premier bakery in North Central West Virginia.
They're known for their desserts at their location in Nutter Fort.
But they've recently expanded into the White Oaks area of Bridgeport - so I felt like it was the perfect time to revisit.
Think really rich cupcakes.
And cookies.
And amazing cakes.
But I went for a salted caramel cupcake, which was so, so good. You could actually taste the salted part, which brought out the caramel flavor.

Right next to Rogers and Mazza's in Clarksburg is Sweet Nana's Pastries and Hot Dogs.
This bakery serves lunch, as well as pastry goods.
They had a host of donuts, and the one that stuck out to me was the peanut butter donut.
Which is your favorite?
The Sweet Spot Bakery & Cafe in Shinnston features a wide range of donuts, coffee and more.
So I went out to get some grub.
The donuts rang from glazed with fruity pebbles to chocolate/graham cracker and marshmallow drizzle.
My choices were salted caramel.
And the fruity pebbles.
They also have pepperoni rolls! Ones with sticks - and cheese - a unique combination.
And I washed it all down with a warm apple cider.
