The long-awaited Bacon, Bourbon & Beer has opened in Morgantown.

Based in Pennsylvania, this restaurant opened another location in West Virginia in the Suncrest Towne Centre in Morgantown.

The restaurant focuses on - you guessed it - bacon, bourbon and beer. I only partook in one B, though: Bacon.

But the walls are lined with bourbon offerings, the space is a cool blend of dark wood and metal, and the menu is perfect for any carnivore.

We started with the "Bacon Flight" which includes two slabs of bacon from four different flavors: cajun & bleu, candied jalapeno & cheddar, bourbon & brown sugar, Sarris Chocolate drizzled bacon.

They were all fabulous, but it's hard to beat bacon drizzled in Sarris Chocolate (one of my favorite chocolates!).

For my main meal, I went with the meatloaf sandwich (which I can never pass up). IT came with house-cut bacon, caramelized onions, fried egg, and BBQ sauce. And a side of macaroni & cheese.

Have you been yet?

Oscar's Breakfast, Burgers & Brews moved to a larger location, so I wanted to go check it out.

This restaurant has a cool concept, serving up breakfast, burgers and brews, of course. So, it was perfect when I was driving through the area at breakfast time.

I'm not a typical eggs and bacon girl, so I went for the "Flapjacks" with a side of sausage.

Gotta have that sweet and savory.

Little dessert shops are my favorite. Lisa and I stumbled upon M&M Bake Shop, which is essentially the garage of a baker in Bruceton Mills.

But it has shelves on shelves of goodies - like these oreo cake balls!

And even pepperoni rolls, which, of course, I had to try! These small, hometown bakeries are some of my favorites!

I recently was able to ride the Durbin Rocket, and the spot where you go to purchase your tickets is adorable.

The whole shop has a great selection of toys, snacks and - wait for it - ice cream.

They had a blueberry flavor that had my name written all over it on a warm summer day.
