A pit stop in Oak Hill required a quick caffeine fix. That's where Pistos Coffee came in.
"Pistos Coffee is a volunteer driven coffee shop designed to foster community. Our goal is to deliver high quality products; while maintaining low cost in order to serve our community with our available resources.
We offer a wide variety of espresso creations, teas, cocoas and baked goods for our customer's enjoyment.
Whether you join us in our shop or just pop in for a quick to-go we stand ready to serve you," reads their website.
The entryway opens into a small craft area that features all sort of neat local goodies. The case at the front had lots of tasty treats: cakes, cookies, pudding and more.
I ordered a Heath toffee bar, which was sticky sweet deliciousness. Maybe on the border of too sweet - even for me.
I also had a caramel macchiato, which is probably sweet for many people's palates. But it was a nice mix of bitterness to offset all of the sweet.
