During Mountaineer Week, WVU devoted an entire day to the pepperoni roll! They had mascots, six different eateries participating in a bake-off, and more. And, I was there to sell my book and be a judge! What a sweet gig, right?

And there are just so many goodies during Mountaineer Week - specifically the craft fair!

Morgantown has poke rice bowls and sushi burritos at RocKa Poke Noodle Bar!





"California Poke" sushi burrito with crab meat, cucumber, carrot, edamame, red cabbage, avocado, green onion, seaweed, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo sauce.







"Hawaiian Classic" poke bowl with ahi tuna, cucumber, carrot, edamame, avocado, green onion, sweet onion, seaweed, sesame seeds and chili flakes ponzu sauce.

Foodie Feast is a culinary event benefiting YWCA Sojourner's Shelter for Homeless Women & Families.

Chili & beer make for a lovely combo. So, the Hops & Heat Festival was a must-try. Local chefs and breweries brought their best.
