I've heard about Riverside Anchor for quite some time.
Why? Because of its legendary "Tomato Pie."
The restaurant has gone through some leadership changes, but the pie remains. 
It is fresh dough with garlic, olive oil glaze, and "secret spices."
It's topped with mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes and whatever toppings you'd like to add.
So I got one of those original pies to try.
And, I also got a sandwich - a "squeak" here.
It's served on fresh baked dough, topped with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. This is the "Pip Squeak," and it has ham, turkey, bacon and mozzarella cheese.
Healthy Vibes Cafe & Juice Bar is a small oasis in Summersville that serves up healthy items and great drinks.
They'll be closing soon, so I wanted to get in to check them out.
And I ordered the "berry buzz," which has cranberry, pomegranate, acai, strawberry, blueberry, yogurt and agave.

Tin Box BBQ Pub & Grub is a new restaurant at Eagle View Luxury Apartments.
This spot is neat because it literally overlooks the whole city.
The restaurant focuses on BBQ, of course, and I visited for my birthday earlier this year.
It also happened to be their opening weekend.
I ordered pulled pork sliders with a side of Mac n Cheese.
That allowed me to try all the different BBQ sauces - Mimi's Original BBQ Sauce, Screaming Mimi's, Jonny J's Jacked Up, and Big E's Carolina Sauce.
We had some homemade chips to start with.
Three sliders with pickles.
And the mac is: "Our homemade mac is creamy and stringy using 5 cheese blend and topped with crumbs and more parmesan baked to golden brown"

Curate is a well-known authentic Spanish tapas restaurant led by Chef Katie Button in Asheville, North Carolina.

This restaurant was my first stop when I made it to Asheville, because I had heard so much about it. It's been recommended by Zagat and Lonely Planet, among others.
We had reservations for the restaurant, so we were whisked to our table to look over the menu.
There were a few things that caught my eye, but at the top of my list was "Pan de cristal con tomate."
That's bread, tomato, olive oil, garlic and salt - pretty simple. But simply delicious.
And, I got a side of manchego cheese to go with it. Honestly, I could live off this type of food.
The dishes are served tapas style - which means small plates - so I ordered a few different things to try.
I also ordered "Pulpo a la Gallega," which is galician style octopus served warm w/sea salt, olive oil, spanish paprika, and yukon gold potato purée.
It's a pretty simple and mild flavor, but fresh and I love the texture.
Finally, I had to try some of the cured ham.
Jamon iberico de belloto - from Cinco Jotas, hand-cut, 100% pure Iberico pigs, from the jabugo region, acorn fattened and free range, giving it a unique and exceptionally nutty flavor.
