Fresh Mint Indian Grill is a new Indian restaurant at the bottom of High Street.

It replaces the former Mother India restaurant.

When I visited, it was lunch time and they had a buffet available.

So, I took advantage of that and filled my place up with samples of everything.

Butter chicken, rice and naan are my go-tos.

Plus kheer and gulab jamun for dessert.

There are vegetarian options and a variety of sauces to accommodate the dishes.

Moonlight Cookies is a late-night cookie shop that satisfies your sweet tooth - even at midnight.

This shop is located in Huntington's Heritage Station.

The space is relaxing and even has a cute book section.

They have a variety of standard cookies and specialty ones depending on the day.

They have "The OG" which is the original chocolate chip cookie made with house dough and semi and milk chocolate chips.

They have the "Salty Blonde" which is caramel and sea salt with caramel chips and caramel bits.

And they have the "P.B." which is a peanut butter cookie with peanut butter chips and swirled with crunchy peanut butter.

I went for the "Salty Blonde" from the original house cookies.

And then I got a few specialty ones - a mint and chocolate chip one, a chocolate and peanut butter one and more.

And what is better than pairing that with hot chocolate? Nothing.

The campfire hot chocolate comes with toasted marshmallows on top. What's your favorite cookie here?

Huntington Ale House is known for steaks, burgers, brews and its creative macaroni & cheese dishes.

I ordered a pulled pork mac & cheese to go.

I've heard about Riverside Anchor for quite some time.

Why? Because of its legendary "Tomato Pie."

The restaurant has gone through some leadership changes, but the pie remains. 

It is fresh dough with garlic, olive oil glaze, and "secret spices."

It's topped with mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes and whatever toppings you'd like to add.

So I got one of those original pies to try.

And, I also got a sandwich - a "squeak" here.

It's served on fresh baked dough, topped with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. This is the "Pip Squeak," and it has ham, turkey, bacon and mozzarella cheese.

Healthy Vibes Cafe & Juice Bar is a small oasis in Summersville that serves up healthy items and great drinks.

They'll be closing soon, so I wanted to get in to check them out.

And I ordered the "berry buzz," which has cranberry, pomegranate, acai, strawberry, blueberry, yogurt and agave.
