Theo Yianni's is a Greek restaurant in the Northern Panhandle that has a great following.
I've been to their previous location, but I hadn't been to the new one near the hospital so I made a trip to get food for my mother and me.
My mom went for a gyro with greek fries.
Whereas I went with a Greek salad - with crumbled feta cheese - and a house dressing.
And there's gotta be rolls with an olive oil. For me entree, I went with a Greek pasta that had feta cheese, shrimp, spinach, and tomato.
For dessert? Rice pudding!
I think I've driven by the Jumbo Buffet Grill in Parkersburg a million times, but I really never knew what it was until I popped in recently.
And surprise: It's a Chinese buffet. There are a variety of options, with all of the classics available.
Plus, they do have a sushi bar. And, lots of American options, too.
Look at this beautiful assortment - sushi, crab rangoons, honey chicken, seafood, mushrooms and more.

It's always a good time for a hot dog.
In Vienna, the go-to spot is Mr. Diggity. This lunch spot features hot dogs, sandwiches, salads and more.
So I ordered a #1 Top Dog - which has sauce, onion, ketchup and mustard.
And, I couldn't go without their lobster bisque that they're known for. And maybe a cherry milkshake just to go with it.
What's your favorite item here?
April's Pizzeria is a pizza shop in White Sulphur Springs that I've wanted to try for quite some time.
If you've driven along the main road in the town, you'll find April's at the end.
While leaving town, I decided it would be a great time to get some takeout. I ordered a "turnover," which is like a calzone, except the ends aren't pressed together.
Mine had cheese, sauce and mushrooms. It's a huge portion, and perfectly browned on top and ooey inside. What's your favorite?
