The Oak Supper Club is fine dining in Pipestem, overlooking a sweet horse farm.

When I parked, I was greeted by this beauty so I had to include her!

The tables overlook rolling hills, and if you're lucky, a few cute horses. This is "rustic farmhouse dining" in a beautiful way.

The menu seems to change seasonally, but always some creative, inventive dishes!

Small basket of bread.

The menu features unique items - like escargot - that you might not find elsewhere locally.

Zucchini and squash pasta

And, the dessert menu sounded too good to pass up!

Strawberry rhubarb pie a la mode.

Mountain Creek Dining Room at Pipestem has been on my bucket list for a while, because it's only accessible via tram - which makes it pretty unique!

The restaurant is a bit upscale, with white table linens and perfect views of the tramway.

The menu features a variety of entree dishes, including fish, steak, chicken and more.

First, some hot bread for the table.

And, three unique butters - a regular, chipotle and herb.

And, then a nice little palate cleanser of coconut milk sorbet.

Grilled chicken breast stuffed with brie cheese, apples, onions, and dates. Topped with chicken au jus. Served on fluffy polenta with broccolini.

And, a view back up after dinner!

Pipestem Resort State Park has a little bit of everything - including a seasonal ice cream shop!

From the shop, you can see the tramway (definitely a must-try!).

On this hot day, an orange sherbet hit the spot.

And, later in the day, I headed down the tram for dinner!
