When I found out an authentic Chinese restaurant opened in Huntington, I was super excited to check it out. I've never had authentic Chinese before! Shangri-La showed me something new.







We split an order of the Gele Mountain Spicy Chicken, which is an authentic dish but a popular one. I think this gives some more insight as to what this dish is about (hint: spicy!)

When I was looking to purchase some locally roasted coffee, I found this local store focused on health and wellness: Wholi Moli.





And there's the coffee I was looking for!

Slowly discovering all the local places I can get to deliver to me! Marco's Pizza allowed me to order online and delivered. Score.

Jessica treated me to Plaza Maya for my birthday. I haven't been to many Tex-Mex restaurants in the area, and this one had a high ranking so we checked it out.



Chips & salsa





Enchiladas Plaza Maya - One potato enchilada, one crabmeat and shrimp enchilada and one shredded beef enchilada, covered with cheese sauce. Served with rice.



Fried ice cream. Fun fact: Jessica mentioned we could get dessert because I'm the birthday girl. The server heard this, and when he brought out the ice cream, he brought a whole crew clapping and ready to put a sombrero on my head. When I turned 17 shades of red, Jessica was like "no, no" and they dispersed.
