Sam's Hot Dog Stand is a well-known hot dog joint in southern West Virginia. And me, being me, decided to try all of them so I can complete the list. Well, friends, this is one of the last ones.

We're at a gas station on Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley. The Sam's has a whole separate section with an awning, and those are my favorite. It looks like a true little shop of its own.

And on this day, I somehow got lucky! They were giving out a coupon for two free hot dogs with any purchase. So I purchased a pepperoni roll and a drink and got two hot dogs - with ketchup and onion on this day.

I'm always a fan of the English bun, so that was perfect. Nice little hot dog overall.

The pepperoni roll, though, was definitely homemade and really tasty. Just a touch over the "well done" side, but good nonetheless.

There's something about summer that screams shaved ice. We know it's nothing more than ice and some sugary flavoring, but it's light and sweet and cold and perfect for sunshiney days.

Becky's Tasty Treats, located in St. Albans behind the car wash, offers just that. Look for the brightly colored food truck, and you'll find yourself in the right place.

There are a bunch of flavors, but, to me, it was all about the photo. I asked for a rainbow. They were out of blueberry, but raspberry, lemon and lime came through. Ice cold, sweet and a special treat. Fun.

Guess who's back... back again... Tudor's is back... Tell a friend. This is the deal: We're visiting every Tudor's in West Virginia and trying all the biscuits - let's go!

First of all, have I mentioned that Tudor's has approximately one million locations in Huntington? It's true. This one, located on Hal Greer, was next on my list.

And for the biscuit of the day: It's the potato melt! Or, affectionately called the tater melt. Carby? Yes. Filling? Yes. Having a crispy hash brown is super key here. But, I can't be mad at biscuit, potato and cheese.

Riverchick Farm Food Truck is a new food truck in the Fayetteville area that has a focus on crepes using their local eggs.

When I heard that the food truck would be stationed at Bridge Brew Works, I found it the perfect excuse to enjoy some sunshine with tasty food and brews.

The menu featured both savory and sweet crepes. And they had all different sorts of combinations - pepperoni pizza, gyro, even a "pig in the blanket" option. Which of course is what I got. It was a footlong hot dog rolled up in a crepe with pimento cheese and pickled ramp relish. Great flavors. It got a bit mooshy, so some crunch texture would send this to the next level.

And, I ordered a "sweet and creamy" Iced Thai Tea with boba. So refreshing and delicious.
