Quicksilver Arcade Bar is a new spot in Huntington that combines a few fun things: drinks, arcade games and hot dogs.

Quicksilver offers some really fun cocktails that are named after video games.

And I went for Tonic The Hedgehog - pineapple vodka, curacao, spring, orange and cherry - very sweet, very tasty.

And as long as you're drinking, most of the arcade games are free! I think just about everything except for Dance, Dance, Revolution and a couple more.

And, if you get hungry, they have something for that, as well.

Dig Dog is a fun little counter located within the arcade that focuses on hot dogs and sides.

They have a bunch of fun hot dog toppings.

And I went with two of them: the Hawaiian with pineapple, bacon and almonds and the Dig Dog, which had mac & cheese, bacon and Fritos.

And my friend Kinsey got the pizza rolls - which were just like little pizza rolls!

Have you been here before?

Early Girl Eatery specializes in farm-to-table comfort food.

The restaurant has been featured on the Food Network, and it tends to be quite busy.

But Dawn and I made a goal to make it here and try something at this much-raved about establishment.

I went for shrimp and grits, which was a bit watery and kinda bland. One of my favorite dishes, but not my favorite rendition.

Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe is the ultimate Marshall sports bar.

Located in downtown Huntington, this cafe has a bar area with TVs, a large menu and green all around.

The menu has something for just about everyone, and since I was here around lunch time, I was able to try two items as part of a lunch combo.

And I went with a cup of lobster bisque and a serving of jambalaya pasta.

That's kind of a fun combo. And, it actually went together very well.

What's your favorite item here?

OWL Bakery stands for Old World Levain Bakery, and it features "NATURALLY LEAVENED BREADS, EUROPEAN PASTRIES, LIGHT FARE, COFFEE, TEA & WINE."

The bakery is fairly small - but boy, is it mighty.

I looked over the case and couldn't decide on just one. So, I had to get a couple!

First, let's talk about the Portugese Custard Tart. This classic pastry is sooo good that I simple could not pass it up.

And then, there were a bevy of more savory pastries.

But I saw one with mushrooms, and it had my name written all over it.

Get this "tomato jam, herbed goat cheese and mushrooms."

Ohhh myyyy goodnesss.

It's perfectly sweet and tart and earthy.
