Charleston Restaurant Week is one of my favorite times of year. More than 20 restaurants this year served 3 courses for $30. I couldn't help myself from trying a new place every night, so here are my adventures from the week. Where did you go?

We stopped for some savory snacks at Fat Patty's in Teays Valley.

My Bella Parties - a party-planning business turned milkshake phenomenon - opened in Hurricane recently. With their over-the-top milkshakes, they've certainly been making quite the name for themselves. Above is Dawn's "Chocoholic" milkshake with donuts, cupcakes and a Ho Ho.











Here's my "Caramel Chocolate" milkshake with caramel popcorn, chocolate donuts, cupcakes and a hunk of chocolate cake.

Colasante's Ristorante & Pub, a longstanding Morgantown restaurant, was damaged in a fire in 2016. They totally rebuilt and reopened within the last few months.





While in town for an event, I called in an order for a small cheese pizza with mushrooms.









May have gotten too excited and had a bite before this shot!

There's the Asian Market in South Charleston, which is packed full of tons of international goodies.
